SOFTBALL INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE
The emphasis of the Instructional League is to provide the players with basic softball skills, rules of play and teamwork.
5/6 DIVISION: Must be at least 5 and no older than 6years old on December 31st of the previous year. This is a tee-ball league. Players will hit the ball from a tee.

7/8 DIVISION: Must be at least 7 and no older than 8 years old on December 31st of the previous year. This is a coach pitch league. Coaches will pitch to the players.

SEASON STARTS – Early April
Teams will play an 8 to 10 game regular season which will end in early June. Participation trophies are awarded to all players.

Teams will be selected in mid-March. Players will be contacted around the third week of March.

GAMES: 1 or 2 games per week. Most games on Saturday. Games are played at the Community Park fields on Edgewood Rd (adjacent to the Lower Makefield Pool) and at the Softball Complex on Oxford Valley Rd, corner of Roeloffs.

UNIFORMS: Uniforms will be issued a few days before the start of the season by your coach – t-shirt, pants and a hat. Players must supply their own glove and batting helmet.

PRACTICES: Typically one practice per week, during the week.
