Pennsbury Athletic Association Baseball and Softball

The Minors League is played with 9 and 10 year olds: Must be at least 9 and no older than 10 on December 31st of the previous year.

The Minor Leauge is a developmental league. Players will develop softball skills, including pitching skills. This is a “kid pitch” league.

 Mandatory player evaluations will be held in early March in order to appropriately place the players into the divisions and evenly select the teams. PAA reserves the right of final player placement.

SEASON STARTS – Early April.
Teams will play a 10 to12 game regular season. PLAYOFFS will immediately follow the regular season and will start in early June and END IN MID JUNE. Trophies are awarded for 1st and 2nd place finishers.

Teams will be drafted in mid-March. Each Manager may select one assistant coach after which the balance of the players in a blind draft. Players will be contacted around the third week of March.

GAMES: 1 or 2 games per week. Most games on Saturday. Games are played at the Softball Complex on Oxford Valley Rd, corner of Roeloffs. PAA approved umpires at all games.

UNIFORMS: Professional Softball League Uniforms are issued – shirt, pants, hat and socks. Players must supply their own glove and batting helmet.

PRACTICES: Typically one practice per week.
